OMG… Cutethulu!! XD

By the way, if you want to see my Favourites and Playlists on YouTube, and there are alot, go to http://www.youtube.com/user/Crackrzz (I believe I once accidentally added someone who can read this to YouTube by accident or subscribed to their feeds or something).  Usually they reflect how I am feeling, and you might find some real goodies there such as Dr. Who on Holiday (a mashup by “Dean Gray”) and there may be versions of “Run With Us”, the song on the end credits of the Canadian cartoon “The Raccoons”… these are mixed with Thomas the Tank Engine and Doctor Who as well.

Updates & such…

Originally posted October 29th, 2009.

Well, here I am, starting up another blog for updates and such.

Only less than a handful of people I trust are able to see this, my posts will be password protected.

Won’t be writing much this evening, as I have just finally found this, but I have some sort of stomach thing (stomach virus or food poisoning from Tacoma Drive KFC? Who knows…) that is working on both ends, which hit me just after I got home from practicum.  Just took some Pepto Bismol to help me sleep.

What I do need to get down, is the strange dream I had last night after drinking Pepsi (with the KFC, of course) before bed.  I dreamt that a former 5 month stint sfwb brought me my good purple coat.  Which is impossible because I left it on the island.  I responded with, “So that’s it, eh?” rather negatively, as I thought it was the end of all contact forever, and the next thing I know, he’s disappeared and I am walking with a lady in some sort of old department store, reminiscent of, say, Value Village.

I get the impression this lady was called by him to talk me down.  I asked her if she was his lawyer or something, and she responded, “No, I’m his ex-wife.”  I looked at her, perhaps thinking she was being sarcastic, and indeed she was who she claimed to be, with brown, long hair pulled back in a ponytail and a long brown paisley dress on.  To which I dropped to my knees and was like, “Huh, huh, huh.”  Not crying, but dumbfounded and almost laughing in dismay because it made no sense to me that he would do such a thing.  She then showed me some kind of hardcover book with an anecdote of their life together, and I understood it completely when I read it, but the moment I woke up, it vanished.  Moral of the story: Lay off the colas before bed.

Practicum has been so awesome, I don’t know where to start (other than this stomach thing, if that is where it originated, my bf won’t kiss me or sleep in bed with me for fear of getting it).  I get lots of cuddles and snuggles from the children, and dancing too!  I have signed a confidentiality agreement, but I won’t be naming names here, just giving general stories that could be any child.

My portfolio child has taken a shine to me… sometimes she cries for her Mummy, especially before nap (she once picked up the toy kitchen phone, “Hi, Mummy!”).  I soothed her the last couple of days, and discovered she loves hair.  She loves to hold mine, touch her face with it, and even nuzzled into it when I was sitting with her on my lap on the floor the other day… she is two.  I may never have babies of my own, but I’ll have lots of children.

There are a couple of children I have not made many observations of, and I feel a bit guilty, but one is so quiet, you usually don’t hear a peep unless someone shoves her over.  Which happens alot to all of them in there.

The other day, we painted with toy cars.  But I was supposed to get down and model the activity… everything went so quickly though by the time we got smocks on them.

Today we painted with corn syrup and food colouring.  Sticky!  But tasty, and fun. I plan on making “oobleck” (Dr. Seuss book, this substance is what rains on the boy, forgot his name) in orange tomorrow along with my Halloween CD… if I can just get that done before I go to bed.  I don’t have too many songs for it though…

My, this got long winded.  The purpose of this blog is partially to keep people I care about updated about the mostly positive aspects of my life, and also to try to verbalize my questions and feelings about things, relationships in particular, even if they never get answered.  Just whatever pops into my head that I have forgotten to mention to someone, and so I write it down to bring it up sometime.  But not tonight, though there were all kinds I thought of lately.  I must burn that CD, get the oobleck supplies ready… cornstarch and food colouring… and then crash.
